I run both my etsy site and my website using the etsy platforms and for me, this works the best for listing my items, fullfilling pattern downloads seamlessly, and having a clean, uncluttered, and proessional website.  I like the way my website is organized - by type of item (patterns, kits, finished goods, notions, etc.) and hope it makes finding what you want quick and easy and with high-quality images.

Etsy has done research about free shipping, and, based on both this research, searching incentivies/disincentitives put in place by etsy, some informal research on my own, and my own proclivity towards free shipping, I am going to start offering FREE SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER $35.00.  You'll find this feature active starting July 30.  You'll see a slight price increase to some kits to compensate for this, however it will be offset (and will save you money) with the new free shipping feature.  Pattern downloads will not be effected.

I thought I should be transparent about this - and also let you know about the new FREE SHIPPING feature going into effect.
