Here is the link for my classes at Bead Fest Philadelphia. It is the direct link to my classes. I’m teaching Beginner Bead Crochet, Keshi Pearl Cuff & a new one called Magic Carpet Ride! This show is exciting and the east coast beaders are Dedicated to their craft! I so enjoyed last year and am happy to be returning. I am almost positive I will drive this year… I thought I would last year too but chickened out. I learned my lesson – if it can be done in one day – drive it! No lost luggage, no car rental, no shuttle and sweet FREEDOM to come and go as you please. Not to mention see the beautiful scenery of Pennsylvania.

Magic Carpet Ride bracelet

Here is a photo of one of my submittals to teach at 2010 Bead & Button show. I worked on this design for quite a while, taking it apart and trying to finish it properly. It uses right-angle weave and lots embellishment. Let me know what you think of the design.

Getting ready to offer Bead Crochet kits, threads & notions for sale

As you can probably tell, on the right side of this site I have some pictures and kits for bead crochet. I am in the process of adding items for sale for all levels of bead crochet – kits, threads, crochet needles, and various notions I’ve found indispensible for the serious bead crochet person.
I am in the late stretch of applying to teach at Bead & Button 2010 and Bead Fest Portland – due 7/31 & 8/1 respectively, as many others are, and will get everything situated correctly soon.

working on 2010 class submissions to national shows

I’ve been working on submissions to teach at Bead & Button 2010, BeadFests 2010 & possibly Pugent Sound Bead Festival. I have some class projects that are mostly done and some that I am experimenting on. I want to have new bead crochet classes to offer as well as right angle weave & embellishing, wire weaving and possibly spiral rope combination. I’ll post pictures as soon as I can.
