Shirley Cook Glass & Fiber Artist
I discovered Shirley Cook of Jumping Jack Glass & Flames and Fiber, a new artist I found at Bead & Button this past June. Shirly, who was primarily a glass bead artist until she discovered fiber is pictured with her amazing work – go to her etsy site for more. Her beads are wonderful too, but seriously, her fiber work is amazing.

I’ll be at The Artisian’s Workshop on Tuesday night, June 16th at 6:30 pm (thanks Mel) to go over the last part of the class that we didn’t get covered as well as we needed to – the toggle. It’s a right angle weave toggle and it proved a little bit of a crabby patty at the end of the day (again a tired group). Bead Crochet ladies feel free to join me to go over problems/show off your stuff-we’d all love to see what you’ve done.
I’ve been thinking about getting together a bead crochet group to meet once a month, if anyone is interested let me know. I live out in Porter county but Lake county can work too. We could even alternate. Let me know you interest and/or ideas.
