Classes at Bead Fest Phildelphia, August 2010

Sunday, January 24th, 2010

Here is the link for my classes at Bead Fest Philadelphia.  It is the direct link to my classes.  I’m teaching Beginner Bead Crochet, Keshi Pearl Cuff & a new one called Magic Carpet Ride!  This show is exciting and the east coast beaders are Dedicated to their craft!  I so enjoyed last year and am happy to be returning.  I am almost positive I will drive this year… I thought I would last year too but chickened out.  I learned my lesson – if it can be done in one day – drive it!  No lost luggage, no car rental, no shuttle and sweet FREEDOM to come and go as you please.  Not to mention see the beautiful scenery of Pennsylvania.

Site update to wait

Tuesday, September 15th, 2009

The site fix will have to wait, I hope you aren’t too put-off by the anti-navigation of it all.  The navigation is on the far right, like most blogs, not like a website, and the back-forward buttons aren’t on there.  The site at least is still working and I can post entries, so that is the important thing.

I tried to download a free version of Photoshop, but that isn’t loading either, so I will work on that tomorrow nite.  I am preparing everything for next week at Bead Fest.  I am teaching two classes on Bead Crochet and looking forward to meeting new people!  Plus, I will post some pictures soon from my class I taught at The Artisian’s Workshop this past Saturday.

Here is a photo of one of my submittals to teach at 2010 Bead & Button show. I worked on this design for quite a while, taking it apart and trying to finish it properly. It uses right-angle weave and lots embellishment. Let me know what you think of the design.

Saturday Class – Memory Cuff SUCCESS! Sue Wade at Griffith Art Show

Saturday, July 18th, 2009

It’s been too long between posts -

We had the Memory Cuff class today – a good time and both Mel and Sue finished their black cuff bracelets – yiippeee!!  It was nice to visit with the ladies, and Mary – the Fused Glass queen at the Artisian’s Workshop - was immensely entertaining as always!

Visit Sue Wade tomorrow at the Art Show in Griffith, at Central Park on Broad St.  Sue is selling her one of a kind fine jewelry such as her copper & glass etched pieces.  Beautiful stuff and this is a true art show – lots of good stuff for everyone.
