Me at Bead Fest 2009 Philadelphia

Me at Bead Fest 2009 Philadelphia

Here is the first of many pictures from Bead Fest 2009. I look tired (I am) but the lighting was really weird and I look almost scarry! I had a great time at my first national show and my first ever “Meet the Teachers Reception.” A very big “THANK YOU” to everyone who purchased one of my cuff or earring kits!

Getting ready to offer Bead Crochet kits, threads & notions for sale

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

As you can probably tell, on the right side of this site I have some pictures and kits for bead crochet. I am in the process of adding items for sale for all levels of bead crochet – kits, threads, crochet needles, and various notions I’ve found indispensible for the serious bead crochet person.
I am in the late stretch of applying to teach at Bead & Button 2010 and Bead Fest Portland – due 7/31 & 8/1 respectively, as many others are, and will get everything situated correctly soon.
Thank you for your patience.

Saturday Class – Memory Cuff SUCCESS! Sue Wade at Griffith Art Show

Saturday, July 18th, 2009

It’s been too long between posts -

We had the Memory Cuff class today – a good time and both Mel and Sue finished their black cuff bracelets – yiippeee!!  It was nice to visit with the ladies, and Mary – the Fused Glass queen at the Artisian’s Workshop - was immensely entertaining as always!

Visit Sue Wade tomorrow at the Art Show in Griffith, at Central Park on Broad St.  Sue is selling her one of a kind fine jewelry such as her copper & glass etched pieces.  Beautiful stuff and this is a true art show – lots of good stuff for everyone.
